Our pastor, Matt Foreman, was raised in suburban Atlanta. He has a degree in music from Furman University in Greenville, SC and a master’s from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia.

Matt served as a pastoral intern at Grace Baptist Church in Taylors, SC from 1998-1999 and then at FRBC from 1999-2002. He became the pastor at FRBC in 2003.

Matt has been married to MaryScott (his college sweetheart) since 1998. They have three children: Katy (2002), Darsie (2004), and Liam (2007). In his free time, Matt loves reading, writing and playing music, playing basketball, and spending time with his wife and kids. While he is a converted Philadelphia Eagles fan, he has held firm and fast to the Atlanta Braves.
