Seeing Jesus: Studies in the Gospel of John
The Gospel of John is the most intimate of the Gospels, a close encounter account of the life and teaching of Jesus. It is also the most philosophically-minded and artistic of the Gospels. Jesus is the fullness of the Word of God, the fullness of everything God has ever wanted to communicate to us. He is the Light of the world. He is the Bread of Life. As such, he is the Source of real Life – real understanding, real satisfaction, real joy. Everything John includes in his Gospel is meant to help us “see” Jesus that we may have life in His Name.
